Laxmi Narayan College, Jharsuguda is a pioneer institution & a premier centre of higher learning in Western Odisha. The College, in its curriculum, has incorporated the importance of Value Education which not only confines itself to education but mostly contributes to the creation of human resources who are critical thinkers and committed to the growth of their motherland. The real value based education can be materialized if we, Governing Body, Teachers, Students, Alumni, Parents & Society join hands to contribute to the real growth & to become Vishwa-Guru as New Education Policy also talks about the holistic education. Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world at large. In Swami Vivekananda’s words, “We want that education by which character is formed, the strength of the mind is unleased, the intellect expands and by which one can stand on ones’ own feet”. The continuous diligent efforts of our G.B., teachers, non - teaching faculty have been helping to impart quality education. I am truly honoured &humbled to serve LaxminarayanCollege, Jharsugudaas President G.B. It is my belief that the forth - coming years will lead the college to the utmost level of distinction, are very soon going for the 3rd Cycle of NAAC accreditation with high ambitions and motives in our heart.I wish the college God’s Blessings, may it continue to flourish and I foresee a bright career ahead for our students.
